The Meeting → an atmospheric, slow-burning suite conceived both as an autonomous record and a live audiovisual performance. Built around the stark, resonant presence of digital piano and a sparse, tactile acoustic framework, the work explores the idea of space holding the physical memory of past encounters — much like fabric retains a crease long after someone has left. The characters inhabit the same room across disparate moments in time, brushing past one another only through the architecture and the acoustic residue of the space itself.
The piece unfolds through an ensemble of vocalists and actors, moving fluidly between intimate spoken-word fragments, chant-like patterns, and austere melodic lines. Recorded in deliberate isolation, these voices exist in parallel — echoing the conversational immediacy and dream logic refracted through hypnotic chamber minimalism and late-night lounge sensibilities.
